Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to your data when you read Best Electric Snow Blowers. The short version: this site doesn't track you, doesn't set cookies and doesn't ask for any personal information. Product photos and links come from Amazon, which is explained below.

What this site collects

• No analytics and no ad trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party script on these pages.
• No cookies from this site. Fonts and drawings load from this site's own server. Product photos are the one exception: they load from Amazon, as described below.
• No accounts, comments or sign-up forms.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify's servers receive technical data needed to deliver a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. Netlify handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Amazon links and product photos

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click a link to Amazon, you leave this site. Amazon may then set cookies and collect data to track whether a purchase came from this site's link. That happens on Amazon's side, under Amazon's privacy notice. This site never sees your name or address. Amazon's reports to this site show only totals of clicks and ordered items, not who bought them.

Product photos in the guides are provided by Amazon and load directly from Amazon's image servers. When your browser loads a photo, Amazon receives the technical data that any image request carries, such as your IP address, your browser type and the address of the page showing the photo. Amazon may collect that information and may place or recognize its own cookies, under the same privacy notice. When a photo isn't available, the guide shows a drawing of that type of machine instead.

If you contact the site

If you write in through the contact page, your message and email address are used only to reply to you. They are not sold, shared or added to a mailing list.

Children

This site is meant for adults buying snow removal equipment and doesn't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, for example if analytics are added, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
